Music Classes For Babies in Encinitas & San Diego

Your little one is a natural-born music-maker, ready to start learning music at birth. It's never too early to get babies started in class!

As in everything, you're your baby's first and best teacher. When you sing in the car and dance in the living room, you show your baby how to make music and that it's important to your family.

In the Music Together® Mixed Age class or Babies class, you'll learn fun musical activities and learn to recognize which of your baby's behaviours are musical so that you can support their development at the time when your baby's brain is at its' most receptive.

BABIES CLASS (0-8m) The Music Together Babies class is a one-semester intro to Music Together and early childhood development. After this one semester, families then join our Mixed Age classes. The music activities in a Babies class are designed to teach parents how to support music development in infancy and how to connect with their infants through music, using purposeful touch, sound-layering, and dancing for baby. Babies classes use the same collection as mixed-age classes, which enables a seamless transition for familes into the Mixed Age Class.

MIXED AGES (Infant through 4yrs old) Here at Blossom Music Tree, we've created a warm environment that supports your baby's natural musicality in our classes - and their overall development. In our Mixed Age music classes, you'll learn lots of ways to interact musically with your infant. And as you sing, laugh, and learn together, you'll bond with your child and the other parents in your class. WHY MIXED AGES? Child development researchers discovered that grouping children of different ages in one class encourages natural, family-style learning, so Music Together developed the Mixed-Age Music Class. Everyone participates at their own levels: babies vocalize, listen and observe; toddlers play and experiment; preschoolers build confidence as they emerge as classroom leaders. Grown-ups are happy because everyone can come to class together!
